Our social member service team is available between 8:00AM – 4:00PM ET, Monday through Friday. Your privacy is important to us. We will recommend taking conversations related to personal information offline for resolution.

Social Media Posting Guidelines

Please review our guidelines when posting on social media given the open and public nature of the forum. Participation is at your own risk. Information that you post is your personal responsibility, including your username and any other information provided.  

Comments or posts in violation of the following may be removed:

  • Comments that are abusive, derogatory or intended to defame any individual or organization will not be allowed 

  • Do not post personally identifiable information (PII), such as passwords, account numbers, or any specific individual account-related information
  • Do not post solicitations 

  • Do not post advertisements, prize contests, or giveaways 
  • Content of a spamming or trolling nature will be removed and may cause the author(s) to be blocked from the page without notice 
  • Do not encourage or post any content that encourages or suggests illegal activity 

  • Post only unclassified information
  • The appearance of external links, posts, or third-party applications on social media does not constitute an official endorsement of State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU)

By submitting content on SDFCU social media, you give SDFCU the right to use this content in any manner it chooses, including SDFCU materials, social media channels, print, website and other media, without payment or any other considerations. 

You are encouraged to share information posted on SDFCU’s social media channels on your own social media sites, blog, website or other publication. As a courtesy, please make sure to credit SDFCU as the author of the content.
