A Message to Our Members We at State Department Federal Credit Union mourn the loss and destruction that hurricane Katrina has brought to so many of us. We want you to know that we are available to assist any members affected by this horrific event. All members who may be experiencing the need for financial assistance as a result of this tragedy are encouraged to contact us. You may reach us at 703-706-5000 or 800-296-8882, or email us. Members are encouraged to help the relief and rebuilding efforts in the affected areas by donating to: Department of State Employees To help the colleagues and families of State Department personnel living in the New Orleans area, contributions may be made by check to the "Department of State" and earmarked for the Employees Emergency Fund. The checks should be sent to: Department of State Employees Emergency Fund c/o Donna Bordley RM, Room 7427 Washington, DC 20520 American Red Cross. Or call 1-800-HELP-NOW. Donating to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund enables the Red Cross to meet the critical needs of victims of this and thousands of other disasters each year. National Credit Union Relief Fund The National Credit Union Foundation is activating its National Disaster Relief Fund to provide a conduit for contributions from the credit union system to support credit union disaster relief and rebuilding in the affected areas. |
